How to make a maze

1. Choose a size. Small, medium or large. Small grids suit young kids; large grids give a long, quiet challenge. Together with the difficulty, mazes range from 8 to 35 cells across.
2. Choose a difficulty. Easy, medium or hard. Harder levels use more, smaller cells, so the path is longer and there are more dead ends and false turns.
3. Choose a shape. Square, rectangle (taller than it is wide) or circle.
4. Make a new maze as many times as you like until one looks right.
5. Print or save as PDF. The solution prints on a separate page so you can keep it for checking.
